Valve has moved SteamOS closer to supporting NVIDIA GeForce graphics by enabling the company’s proprietary driver directly in the operating system’s primary development tree.

Valve says NVIDIA drivers are now enabled in the main SteamOS development tree, allowing some GeForce GPUs to run.
