Understanding Poverty: Definition, Causes, and Measurement

Ain't that the truth. There are 14.2 million people living in poverty in the UK and 4.5 million of them are children. That's more than one in every 3 children. Amnesty research shows two-thirds of people in Britain are worried about affording the essentials, like heating and food, this winter. This is a political choice.
